The Beautiful City of Gaffney In the early 1800’s Michael Gaffney opened a store on the Indian trails. The store grew and then a huge hotel was built in the vicinity of the Limestone Springs area. The settlement began to grow, people moved to Gaffney and made their homesteads. Eventually, the hotel became a college for women. Gaffney lies between Greenville, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina along the Interstate I-85. Traveling on I-85 you can’t miss the huge beautiful Peach water tank. The water tank is better known as the Peachoid. The giant peach was a tribute to Gaffney’s peach industry. Join us during the famous Peach Festival The huge Prime Outlets in Gaffney off I-85 is a mega attraction to any shopper; you can shop designer and brand name outlet stores. The Bicentennial city has three nationally historic districts. Gaffney is located nearby two amazing Revolutionary War landmarks, (1) The Cowpens National Battlefield (2) The Kings Mountain National Military Park. Gaffney is a welcoming community; there are antique shops, County History & Arts Museum. Hiking trails, fabulous fishing, and a wildlife haven. We are a small family owned and operated campground.
Our campsites can accommodate 50/30 amp with 110 at each site, along with water, septic and Internet. Call for prices. Each RV site you rent is based on 2 adults and 3 children. If you wish to have more people, each extra person will be $5.00 per night.
We make it easy and all about you! When you call us for a reservation you are immediately given your campsite information. Upon arrival just pull on into your campsite . Call to check-in and we will come to you.
Turtle Creek Campground is located in the beautiful upstate region of South Carolina. We are surrounded by many different types of farms and our beautiful rolling hills. Our local area has so much to offer with it's rich and gracious hospitality, rich history, amazing arts, homemade crafts, fabulous food, and breath taking landscapes. Just taking a hike you'll be astonished by the wildlife you will see. Located just a few miles away from the town of Cowpens, where there is so much to do, you can enjoy antiquing, the farmer's market, and the amazing history of the Battlefields. After shopping at the Outlet Mall,you can un-wind by bowling, playing games or catching a movie, plus so much more at the "Big E". All of this and more, just a few minutes away from Turtle Creek Campground. We are within an hour from: Ashville and the famous Biltmore Estates, visit Beautiful Charlotte, and Greenville, North Carolina. So much to do and to explore.
